Sometimes, it's not always the desire to keep going, but the physical ability to do it..
Up until a couple of years ago, my Mom and Dad where enjoying their nice big 2005 5th wheel with their nice big 2005 Dodge dually truck and then some rare, neurological disorder has caused my Dad to have to leave it parked.. Mom is still going strong and taking care of Dad at this point.
He is only 75 now and I'm 55 and it's just hard to see my Dad this way.. He's always been my hero and now he's had to sell the truck and still trying to sell the 5th wheel..
They are the ones that started my "camping" life.. They took me on my first camping trip when I was 6 months old and we never stopped camping all thru my life while under their roof going thru all the stages of 'camping' from tents to Rv's..
In the end, it's all about how you enjoyed your time camping, rving or whatever you do with your family and the memories that comes from it..
Not trying to be a "Debbie Downer", on this topic, but when the time comes you can't or don't want to do it anymore, you will always have the times you had.
