You are missing the point! They have YOUR best interests in mind by not returning the card. That is why the bank has a set and firm policy on the issue. I once lost my ATM to a machine because I waited to long to retrieve the card after the transaction. That machine feature is for MY protection. You were incorrect in addressing the issue as you have posted here!
