Whether to use a credit card or debit card is really like comparing apples to oranges. It's more about what works best for you than one being better than the other. I know a lot of folks who do the credit card for everything and pay the bill once a month. For me, it just makes more sense to use the debit card for everything.
The trick is to find the best solution for YOU and use common sense and logic.
Sidenote: I'm really tired of the entire "reward points" game that's everywhere - just quit overcharging me for my purchases and keep your points. :)
