Yes, that is the safest way to get cash. Stores usually have a limit as to how much cash you can get. Just remember to get a little cash back each time you buy something.
Wouldn't you be charged the exuberant interest rate for "cash advances" if you do this? I use my CC a lot (pay off monthly) but have never gotten cash back due to my fear of this...or would the interest for cash advances not apply if I pay off monthly? Typing made me think of that..I wouldn't want to make it a habit, but I see where getting cash back could come in handy in certain circumstances.
We do not use debit cards.
They are talking debit cards. I would not get cash back with a CC.
tpi ask about the safest alternative being getting cash back with a CC.
