In 50 years of RVing the ONLY place I've ever had anything stolen was from my own driveway where the trailers have always been stored. They got two 6 volt batteries (8 years old) from me a couple of years ago. Fortunately they CAUGHT the thieves with the batteries but UNfortunately, they somehow lost all traces of an arrest or even an incident, while on the way to the station. REALLY unfortunately, not all cops are good ones.
When in campgrounds or when boondocking in the back country I've NEVER had anything stolen or any PEOPLE problems of any kind.
