I get the impression that people at public cg's are more likely there to do outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, etc. -- but they are there with family or friends and want to spend time alone, together. At public cg's it seems like thete are more couples or singles who are into meeting new people. But maybe I am just imaging that?
I do find that permies are often surprisingly friendly! Maybe that is part of why they live in a rv park; they like the costant influx of strangers.
