Honestly, nothing would drive me inside faster or keep me there longer than having to hear country music from a neighboring site. I love rock, but I don't play it outside while camping. We go camping to hear the birds and the waves and the wind in the trees, not bass or faint tinny sounds of someone else's music. I really wish people would remember that the sound of music carries, and your neighbors may not enjoy your taste in music or want to half-hear any music at all.
As far as socializing, I happen to love meeting and having chats with my camping neighbors. We have met so many nice folks that way. But sitting outside drinking and partying for hours on end? No.
