Where is a good hiding place for money, passports, etc. in the RV?

Where do you camp that you need to hide your money? Why do you carry enough cash that you need to hide it?
We usually carry less than $50 between the two of us and only lock our trailer when we leave the campground. We are not naive or trusting. We just won't camp in a place that theft is a big worry. Maybe this will be something we need to worry about if we ever full time.
