- D_E_BishopExplorerLately I think there has been a lot of critical thinking about questions that are being asked here. Critical as in, why did the OP ask for help instead of looking that up on my search engine of choice.
Every once in awhile a Senior Member has a brain fart and asks a silly question but last week a new member asked a fair question, but gave no details like make and model, almost all the answers were critical and not one "Welcome to the Forums".
This is not typical of you folks at all. Most of you are really cool guys and know the answer to questions and normally you're friendly as all get out.
I think you are tired of winter and no camping, I think you need to sit around a campfire absorbing the tranquilizing smoke and sharing tall tales about newbys with other senior members. I know I am tired of this darn remodeling of our S&B and need to get out of here.
I know that now that the DGKs are almost free from the tyrannical control of teachers and we have a plan for spending sometime with the DGD while Mom and little brother are working at Cub Scout residence camp, we're off to Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands, Great Sand Dunes, the GC North Rim and then a day or two at Morro Bay, I know that I sleep better and treat the cat nicer too.
So if you see a Winnie Adventurer with a big after market decal on the rear cap that says "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" in a campground and I'm sitting outside relaxing, stop by, the first beer is on me!
PS: He is from Buena Park, CA, think Disneyland CA. so I figure he heading East toward the center of RV manufacturing. - Northern Indiana primarily, but you won't find parts houses up here.

In my circle of friends it is common to ridicule each other when we say or do something ridiculous because we know we are going to catch hell when it's our turn.
It is now this man's turn.
Let's go fishing.
Works fine for some friends in some circle's ......however everyone here are complete strangers.
Works best from behind the keyboard when we reply to someone's question just like most folks do in a face to face conversation.
OP .....just about every thing in or on a RV can be bought from another brand rv dealer or a mobilehome/rv parts house.
My '97 5er in sig was built by Electra. Thor bought them about that time and discontinued them after a couple of years. The living room slide drive system had to be rebuilt in '04. No problems as the drive system mfg was still in business....or parts can be cannibalized from a out of service unit.

Lwiddis,
Folks who come here asking a reasonable question and needing help don't need Socrates and don't need lessons in critical thinking and don't need to be arrested and by the "post police."
The OP didn't get arrested. He got a written warning. :B - bikendanExplorer

Which one? Thor is a huge company with dozens of brand names including Montana.
since the OP owns a Coleman hybrid TT, which is a Dutchmen product, i'll assume they want to go to the Kodiak/Aerolite factory, which the Colemans are clones of.
as was said, Thor is the largest RV manufacturer in the world and has numerous factories and locations. - 2oldmanExplorer IIlol
- LwiddisExplorer IIWhich way to the best fishing are you headed, 2oldman?
- 2oldmanExplorer IINOW it's a tough crowd.
