Move over to the Apline area, also very high around 8000 ft. three or four lakes, lots of elks, I had 60 in my front yard a couple weeks back. You could also go home from there very easy and see more of Az. and some N.M.
Want to boon-dock around Greer, AZ. No structured CG's. Any suggestions for some good spots?
A lot of area to use and a number of camping sites also, we have a summer home up there, in fact I might go up the week end to close it up for the season.
Supercharged recomended this route to me several years ago.
I have been through there from Show Low. Absolutely beautiful country. Lots of forests, greenery and lakes. - eichacsjExplorerAwesome thank you!

A good contact person would be MELLO MIKE who lives in Mesa AZ... You should be able to find him from one of his many blogs for OFF-ROAD camping in Arizona...
