Personally I've been purchasing things for 45+ years. Never, repeat NEVER have I had any issues with anything I've bought that would have even approached wanting litigation or arbitration. First, deal with reputable merchants. Not that hard to get a sense of shady folks. Then when I have had a problem, dealing rationally with the merchant, I've always had success in getting the problem solved. As for vehicles, the problems I've had in 45 years of vehicle buying have all been very very minor and quickly fixed to our satisfaction.
Arbitration clauses are not something I have any concern about. Just like extended warranties as well.
Just my personal experience. BTW same with my folks experience as well as the in-laws.
