where to buy

Are there RV dealers that sell the Progressive Industries surge protectors. Wanting to get the EMS-PT50C. Can find them online but shipping and duty makes it very $$. We are heading to Rockport,Texas in Jan and was hoping to find some place along the way that sells them.

  • Tweedys will send one to you at your campground if you're going to be there for a week or so. They have great prices and service.

  • Lawrence RV has Progressive EMS and at a very competitive price mind you, no shipping charges in the U.S. I can't say for sure for Canada, give em a call or check out their website.
  • There is a decent RV store in Rapid City, SD. I didn't find the name in my book.
  • We would be traveling from the Sask/North Dakota border on either US83 going through Minot to Fredicksburg area OR going south from Manitoba/North Dakota border on I29/I35/I37 to Rockport. Was hoping to get one in Minot area so we could use it along the way and not have to pay shipping/duty .
  • Canada has a long border with US.
What part of US will you be traveling through?
Some dealers along the way could have the unit.
  • When you get here a nice day trip to Tweety's will get you taken care of. Nice folks and good prices and just North of San Antonio.

You could tour the San Antonio river walk and eat some great food also.

  • Most of the Camping World stores carry them but we bought our's at dyersonline.com. They were about $30 cheaper for the 30amp than CW and we got free shipping in the states..might be different for Canada.
  • If you can't find a store, buy it on line and have it shipped to your campground. Done that several times due to the cost to cross the border.

  • I got mine through RV Wholesalers in Lakeveiw OH (my local dealer and shop). It was not in their online catalog but when I called. they ordered it for me. If you know of a dealer you'd like to do business with, I'd call them and if they don't have it in stock they can probably order it for you.

I went with the EMS-HW50C with remote display.
