So the plastic "T" handle for my black tank valve broke. The screw that has a ring-like thing that supports it is lose and it stopped the valve earlier than it should so I broke it.Where can I find a replacement for it? I hope it is not hard to change.On a side note I thought I had closed the black valve but it wasn't fully closed due to this problem. Great....

What Old-Biscuit said. It's an easy job, but I'm a plumber and it is right up my alley.It can be a little messy and you have to be careful to not pinch the gaskets.Bruce

When mine broke I repaired it with two nuts and a fender washer. Has worked fine as a handle for years.

In the mean time, just clamp a pair of vice grips on it for a handle.

Thanks for the reminder - my gray valve handle has a crack in it. I just ordered one from Amazon for $5.40. With tax, $5.69 - we have Amazon Prime, so no shipping charge. It'll be here Wednesday.

x2. I lost my extension rod (between valve and handle) so I picked one up. It cost me 11 bucks and that didn't include the black handle. So much for being in a hurry. Next time I'll take Old Biscuit's advice!
