I was going to post a photo to be sure I was looking at the same thing, but I can't find an option to do a simple upload of a photo. So, what I am looking at is three buttons L-R blank, VSC Off Indicator, and Rear Window Control, below that on the left is a series of 7 horizontal parallel indentions, and then below that on the right is an indention with a button, which I think if I recall is the maintenance reset button or something like that. So I am thinking you are talking about the area below the horizontal indentions and above the button.
If so, that causes it to sit at a very steep angle. I want to replace my old time-delayed controller with a proportional one, anyway, but I thought they needed to be relatively level? I have not yet investigated which one to get.
