Yes, in that general area. That area is where I mounted mine, maybe slightly lower.
Just make sure you can get to the manual control knob quickly if necessary.
If they have not changed the Toyotas, the plug in for the controller is behind the left kick panel. With the Tekonsha pigtail adapter, it's plug in play. I used my Prodigy for about 12 years, moving it from the old generation Tundra to the new gen Tundra. Sequoias are basically the same.
