Where to rent a Class C in New England?

Hi - friends of ours want to rent a motorhome for about a month to do a cross-country trip late this summer/early fall timeframe. They have checked with Cruise America, El Monte, and Camping World, and supposedly none of those places have a unit available anywhere near New Hampshire that would work for 2 couples in that time frame. Was wondering if anyone knew of a better way to rent a unit, or additional places they should try. Appreciate the input! ST

  • Forrest Marine in Tyngsboro MA is just over the NH line from Nashua, like feet over the line. I know they rent RVs and the people are very nice.
  • Thanks everyone! I've forwarded all those links to them - we'll see how they make out - will let you know! If others have additional ideas I'll pass them along, too! ST

Camper's Inn, thank you! Was trying to think of that business but my brain was blanking.

  • "Near" is a relative concept. Here on the Great Plains, we'll drive 150 miles to go out to dinner or 300 miles to see a live show. It might very well be in the same state.

Where you are, 150-300 miles takes you out of state, into some pretty big metro areas. Nothing in Boston or Newark?
