- mgirardoExplorerWe don't normally camp on Holidays, but we are here for the season and Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor are included.
-Michael - JW_of_Opechee_SExplorerSitting on the deck looking out at the lake while the TV is tuned to the golf. Don't do holiday camping anymore, kids grown and gone. Next trip is August to the Outer Banks and then leave for Florida in the middle of October.

yup. this is why we travel in the spring before school is out and in the fall when school is in. fewer crowds, more peaceful, less noise, fewer neighbors, less stress. what's not to like? :) - gboppExplorer

- Dutch_12078Explorer IIWe're boondocking on a very private, very quiet, corporate wood lot in the Adirondacks. Since there are only 3 active permits left of the original 100 issued in the mid-60's, and the other two only come for deer hunting season in the fall, we don't expect any company unless our daughters stop by.
