I STAND CORRECTED. I don't know why I was thought that was the Prius was towable. The Highlander is also not towable because the rear axle is always connected to the rear electric motor.
T18skyguy - If you want something smaller, I highly recommend the Ford C-Max. It's nimble like the Focus, gets very good fuel economy, and has a large cargo area. They have a plug-in version also, but you lose a good chunk of trunk space (the false floor still makes it very functional) but if you live in an area with high electric rates, the plug-in option may not pay off.
