Well I see Texas is on the list at no 4. I would have rated them No 1. In the last 10 years, every time I am on Texas roads, I am passed when there is a yellow line in my lane, or even 2 yellow lines. It took just a little of 60 minutes for that to happen when I drove into Texas this year.
When I am in the right lane on a hill, it becomes a life or death situation as we come to where we have to merge. Usually 3 or 4 cars (if there are any) we continue to pass me we after the merge and that forces me onto what shoulder there is, or force them onto the other lane.
I have commented that when on a four lane or freeway, that putting your blinker on to move over one lane indicates to others that the signal means for them to speed up if they are behind me.
If has even gotten worse since Texas has raised the speed limit to 75 on a lot of roads.
And yes, I am aware of the law that requires me to drive on the shoulder if there are 3 or more cars behind me. If I don't pull over to the shoulder, I am considered a road hazard.
