Here in Mass, we call the right lane the through lane, because it's the lane you go 'through' to get on and off the road. This trait is particularly worrisome to RVs because Mass drivers tend to get into the center or left lane right away and tend to stay there until just before their exit, where they dart across 2,3 or 4 lanes of traffic to make it.
