I thought I was safer in Florida not having to drive daily in dangerous snow storm conditions during the winter months.
Wrong. When it simply rains down here there are more accidents than any blizzard conditions I've seen on the Chicago Interstate. They are crashing all over during or after a rain.
I make a point of staying off the roads here in Florida after it rains. I had a better chance of not having an accident up North in the snow. :R
