I have been to every state in the east and I can say, without a doubt, that Pennsylvania has the most considerate and capable drivers of anywhere I have traveled. When I head out of town I just can't wait to cross the Maryland border into Pennsylvania -- the difference in drivers is noticeable, almost immediately.

Obviously you aren't on the road with Pennsylvania drivers during rush hour. I live right on the PA border and contend with the PA drivers every morning and evening. They plop themselves right in the "Pennsylvania lane" (the fast lane) and refuse to move out of it. Doesn't matter what speed they're going. 50 in a 65 zone, they're there. Others are doing at least 90 and they swerve in and out then plop themselves back into the Pennsylvania lane. At least this behavior has allowed us to perfect the Jersey salute!
Uhm, those are likely not PA drivers. We consider those East of Reading as foreigners. They have very little in common with the rest of PA ;) You could draw a line West of Philly and think you were in a completely different state... Lol.
