Which State to pick for residence
My wife and I are thinking of hitting the road in our MH soon and the question has come up of State Residence. We live in CA now and its a bit expensive, I know there are a number of items to consider...

I am told there are four states that accept full time residents
Next door to CA is NV.. However the taxes vary greatly county to county.
And Texas.. When I was parked in NV I used to joke "I have to go all the way across Texas to pick up my mail" And so I did, Texas Ave was, as I recall, the last cross street before the post office.
In addition the Escapees club and mail service are HQed in Texas. you might wish to consider them, Just put the www in front but I'm not sure what follows, com, or org, likely com.
Flordia: For assorted reasons (Political) I'm not keen of FL. but that's may change in time.. It is likely where I will land when I land somewhere.
And lastly SD.. now the problem I have with SD is driver's license renewal.. SD is not a nice state for a 38 foot motor home on my birthday.. 3 months prior, perhaps but that's cutting it close. But it is the state I'm most considering.
I may pop down to Flordia and check it out some more come summer though.
