I do not run a reefer if it is empty.
Anyhow, i have a neighbor give my house a walk thru about every two weeks.
I know that is a long period but it sure will beat months if something goes south.
Do you have a sump pump? I also have a zone on the security system if the tempo gets too high or too low or if the sum0p pump fails.
