Turn it off. Why waste the electricity. Clean it, leave the door open. Unplug it and everything else that is not needed. There are a lot of parasitic draws on modern stuff. You may be surprised to find your electric bill drops to almost nothing while you gone if you do the above things. Of course you have to leave things like the furnace and sump running. And, I agree it's a good idea to have a neighbor of family member walk through every couple of weeks to check for problems. This is what my parents always used to do when they went to Florida in the winter.
