So after seven pages of this nonsense, and the posts getting more acerbic page after page, does the OP really believe that most of the contentious posts and comments here are due in part to being people being different types of RVers?
I'd say the responses, especially those on the last 3 pages of this thread are pretty good examples of it being otherwise. We all come from different parts of the country (or other countries), different upbringings, different value systems, different political views, etc. I'd say that has a lot more to do with people's responses and even the arguments over topics like camping at Walmart, etc. than what you use your RV for.
Perhaps you missed this part of one of my posts:
"My point about disagreement on this site is this: Much of what I read in posts to a topic is clearly from the perspective of a certain kind of RV'er vs another (see my list). Often the responses are combative and out of sync with the OP's posting...(see two of the responses here for an example).
The disagreements, I am suggesting, are borne out of the different experiences and world views that different kinds of RV'ers have based on their particular way of approaching the "RV Experience"
Certainly all of the other reasons for people to disagree are in play here also and I never suggested there was only one. But the one I see much of was the basis for my post."
