Well I took the tire to Discount and they didn't think it was a tire failure. They looked for a hole/puncture in the carcass of the tire, actually every service guy that saw it tried to find it. They seem to have seen tires like this before. The service guy said sometimes its just a small pin hole. Either way he got Maxxis on the phone to see if it would be covered by the warranty. He explained to them about the tire and then was given another number to call. At that point he just said he would prorate it for me(since I have bought these and other tires from them), based tread depth(like Maxxis does). So, $40 plus tax or what ever else there is. Just ordered the 1 tire, not sure what I want to do for the other 3 tires yet. He suggested I wait until they are out of warranty(gets me through this season).
