- BobboExplorer IIAt the campground this AM, a guy was walking his 160#, 18 month old English Mastiff. We asked what he was camping in. A 40' toy hauler. The garage is a kennel. He needed it. (The dog's sire was 240# and the dame was 230#. This dog had not NEARLY filled out yet.)
- ktosvExplorerI have always heard a picture is worth a thousand words. I guess they are also helpful for a complete towing analysis.
It’s amazing from two still pictures we know that the boat is swaying, it’s clamped to the travel trailer, and the pickup with a beat up exterior (and perfect maintenance record?) is overloaded and dragging its bumper!
I just read another post about how we really don’t need weight distribution hitches on all vehicles/receivers. Maybe this guy is actually using one and at least gets a silver star for that! :) - N-TroubleExplorer**** show written all over it.
Steer clear... - Grit_dogNavigatorYeah!
That’s some pure gold redneck heavy haulin right there!
I wanna see how bubba gets the wheeler in and out of the boat.... - fj12ryderExplorer IIINo, that type of thing is never "perfectly fine", it's an accident waiting to happen. One can only hope he doesn't take anyone else with him when it does.
- mkirschNomad IIApparently it's perfectly fine until someone takes a picture...
- notevenExplorer IIIIf he hadda dually it would be ok.
- fj12ryderExplorer IIIYeah, I noticed that the front seems to kind of hang down a bit farther than the rear. I'd sure want him behind me rather than in front.
- bluie5ExplorerThat Dutchman looks like it’s about to break in half.
- LwiddisExplorer IIWould I try to get around dumbo or just hang way back?
