Who says I need to take up space for a Gooseneck Hitch!

This is the third place I've seen it now, all from different origins.

Someone staged this for Internet fame.

Looks like something a couple of guys came up with over a few beers while camping. I'll bet it's a flatbed trailer with no weight on it.

Why would they do this?

Holy smokes. And he’s even doing it with the horrible GM receiver used on the GMT800 series trucks. Honestly I’d love to watch a video of that going down the road to see how much it flexes.

Well, when that guy gets a Patton on his design and it starts selling, and he makes a few million dollars and then retires, I suppose the rest of us will just be left scratching our heads! :h

Just off the top of my head without calculating anything I would guess if he has a Duramax under the hood and he floors it in low gear going up a bit of a hill he could get his front wheels to lift off the ground.... likely equivalent to putting about 12,000 lbs on a regular ball. I'm thinking something could break.
