Why a pet charge ??
We have been traveling all over the west coast and have been charged from $5.00 to $10.00 per night "pet charge". For the life of me I cannot figure our what the charge is for other than filling the ...

I actually learned a lot from this dog thread from the C forum. In particular…
1) Though if I have the option, I will choose a park w/o a pet fee, if I have no options other than to pay a fee for my pet which they say is because the added cost of pets to the cg are not the responsibility of other non pet peeps, I will ask for discounts for not using the restrooms, laundry, pool, and clubhouse.
2) When told at such a cg that it costs management a lot to clean up after pets, I will ask for a receipt, walk my dogs, not pick up the poop, and if someone yells, I will flash the receipt as my paid-in-full privledge.
3) And I cannot believe just how much profit the managers make from this fee. Ssee previous posts for est.
