I had a professional career, but I've never put down roots. DW likes having a home base but willingly goes on the road with me for months at a time. Retirement allows us the freedom to travel whenever we feel the urge. We spend much of our time volunteering in national parks, enjoying the best of our country's outdoor treasures.
