I don't find the guy in the video to be an idiot. I think he represents Americans in general who are fed up with being over-taxed, not earning decent wages, hacked off at the older generation who got lucky, and I don't think he has an ax to grind.
An older generation who got lucky???? Really? You think it was just luck?
Sorry msmith1199, I didn't mean lucky as in the roll of the dice, it was the period that people worked and lived in which is much different than today. Lucky to be born, live and work during the 40s, 50s and 60s.
I think you may need to study a little more history. The 40's was WWII and a lot of people suffered for the war effort. The 50's and 60's did see better times, but that is even a generation before me. So I guess I'm in the unlucky generation since my adult working life didn't start until the 80's. But I did very well for myself and had much more than my parents had at my age. And I don't think I'm an exception to the rule.
The problem with the current generation is too many of them grew up being handed everything on a silver platter. When they are young adults getting into the work force they don't understand why they still don't get everything handed to them on a silver platter. They also don't understand the need to show up to work on time and the need to actually work when they are there and they don't realize that you can't make a living playing video games.
