Most houses appreciate. Monthly payments can be considered putting money into savings. Cars for the most part are needed as well. An rv that has a depreciation factor higher than autos is a terrible thing to have payments on. I think the video is accurate and good advice. If you don't think it applies to you, that's fine but to think that there are not people out there who are over their heads in debt and not enjoying it then you are naive.
Well it could be said one doesn't really need a house either. And if you've been around the last decade you'd be keenly aware many people have lost most, if not all equity they had in their homes. For many their homes are their prison. You didn't read my post very well, I didn't watch the video.
I'm not naive just realistic, are you?
