Why buy a new $125,000 motorhome?

My mother died of cancer when she was in her early 50's. She never got to retire. That had a profound affect on me. Now I'm not about to go out and finance a brand new camper, truck, boat, etc. that I can barely afford the payments on. However, I am going to do things I want to as soon as I can comfortably do them even if it's not "the ideal" time. I would not buy a new RV or boat because they just depreciate so fast and I can afford more in a used rig. I do however buy new cars for my main commuter car because I can afford it and I am just done with car repairs. I would absolutely lease if I didn't drive so much. I put over 20k a year on a vehicle.
