I don't have the time nor the energy for an Internet debate on the topics this thread has delved into, so I'm deleting this post before I get sucked into the conversation. It almost got me.
Needless to say, there's some misinformed people with a skewed, revised version of history. One in particular. . . but that person is unlikely to be educated in a forum like this.
