Why campgrounds have gates.

Recently I traveled out to Michigan from NJ. In Ohio we stopped for the night. Seems to me that was the clerk's problem letting them in when she is well aware check out is 11:00. She 'should' of told them to remain pared MH AND Toad in front of the office until the camper in that site left.

For me I also would have stopped at the office and made note of it to the manager and/or even the clerk that they NEEDED to explain to the next camper that check in is at 11:00.

As far as the guy that was an idiot to yell at you? I would have walked up to him and explained to him check out is 11:00 and left it at that. I wouldn't have told him when I was going to leave either. The site was yours until 11:00.
