Maybe that is why Ford and GM have changed their thinking about using WD on their newer trucks. Your additional comments about the space shuttle being the good old days is only last year. Really? And the shuttle has a nose gear so the Tundra did not carry the weight of the nose as a truck would with a TT. The Tundra used a draw bar, towed it slowly for a couple hundred feet on level ground, and did it very slowly. It has nothing to do with a WD hitch on a one ton truck that the manufacturer is now stating should be towed with either no WD or with less WD. Your discussion is all over the place and in some instances you actually support following the manufacturer's recommendations in deference to the positon others thave taken about using WD all the time.
