Not meaning to jack this thread, but was curious if it is the WD hitch or the SWAY Control that is doing the most for people in the improved handling of the rig. Seems a lot of people talk about sway when discussing the need for a WD hitch and I always thought it was sway control that was most needed to prevent sway, and WD to prevent porpoising.
Part of the problem is that most people confuse trailer sway with push / pull. When a semi-truck passes on the interstate and it feels like you're getting pushed away or pulled in? That ain't sway! That's push / pull, and it's natural. It does it without a trailer, but is much more noticeable pulling the trailer. A sway bar will do NOTHING to stop push / pull. This is where smart, cautious and aware driving come into play. I'd hope most of us are relying on our driving skill and not on a $40 steel bar. Or maybe most of us are driving with our knees.
