Everyone I know has weighted their RV for loaded weight. You don't weigh each item, you weigh it empty, load it up and then weigh it loaded. If you're over you unload stuff.
It's very easy to go past a low CCC of 1000 lbs.
I weighed our Class C, 2 Class A's and Fifth wheel loaded and unloaded. Lots of people aware of the towing weights.
