It's human nature that posters always think they are asking the right question with regards to addressing some issue they have.
However, many posts that seem to be "off" in their response to an original question are often merely attempts at getting the OP to think differently about their issue such that a direct response to their original question may not be the best response for them in the long run.
i.e. I personally get a lot of helpful information from reading responses to others' questions that are not direct responses to those questons at all. There's a lot out there to learn about beyond what may be on one's mind only at the moment. One sometimes needs additional thoughts, to ask questions, and to answer questions ... that are outside the original coach box. :)
