I asked a question here because i was looking for personal experience about a location. Instead of helpful info, i get "call the place"
I think sometimes the questions posed are so thoughtless they deserve a snarky response, such as (1.) the obvious answer is at the finger tips of the poster and perhaps he didn't even think to look there, or (2.) the information is so vital that relying on an internet forum is foolish.
Examples:
(1.) asking what the break in period of a new vehicle is when they have their owner's manual to get the correct answer as opposed to "drive like you stole it," or "baby its whole life and it will baby you."
(1.) asking if they can have a campfire at certain campground. Why not just call the place and ask. What rule was in place last year when someone else helpfully responded their experience may not be this year's rules.
(2.) asking about taking a handgun into Canada when the reality is you can't and an attempt while lead to serious, profound consequences. Many answers posted: "just fill out the paperwork and cross the border" or "just tell them you are going to Alaska."
Just a little effort on the person posting the questions will give them the correct answer. It seems today people don;t want to do their own research but let others do their work for them and believe anything they see on their computer screen. They deserve smart a$$ answers.
