I have had very few gripes while camping. The people I meet tend to be friendly and outgoing. Towing, to be sure, is NOT my favorite thing. In fact, we're taking our TT off the road and putting it at a wonderful campground the whole family loves. I think we will really like just driving up there with our food and clothes--easy-peasy!
Hi,
We're GA folks too, and always looking for a good spot! Do you mind sharing your favorite. Many thanks!
Sure. It's a private CG called Trackrock Campground, a few miles north of Vogel SP. It's between Blairsville and Young Harris. We love it. It is heavily wooded, has FHUs, good bath houses, cabins, two playgrounds, a game/TV room, big rocking chair porch, small swimming lake, horseback riding and hayrides on Fri or Sat nights. They keep things maintained properly and they don't put up with nonsense--drinking, making lots of noise, inappropriate behavior, etc. It's very much a family campground.
We actually hosted our family reunion here last summer. We've been there a million times, but most of my family had not. They took a chance on it and fell in love with Trackrock.
