Guys, come one now....... If you're paying bills through your bank's WEB Site, the security is well established and the pipeline you are using to get there is pretty much irrelevant. Obviously, if someone is looking to get YOU specifically, anything is possible, but I doubt your enemies will be lurking outside a McDonald's waiting for you to drop by.
If the risk was as great as many portray on these open wifi sites, corporate lawyers would NEVER allow them to exist. It would be an open invitation to law suits.
Then again, if you're sending credit card info via regular email, you are simply a fool.........

Are there really people out there that put their personal info and account numbers on public WiFi to prevent paying for some more private methods of paying bills? I check emails etc but public WiFi for paying bills?
