I have had some folks tell me to use on 25 psi on the airbags and others tell me 60 psi due to the pin weight. I have tried all kinds of pressures with no luck. If I hit a rough transition on a bridge or overpass, the nose of the trailer really starts to react and is quite frightening. I am considering a Trail Saver hitch but am tired of throwing money at this problem and getting little results. By the way, I have Moryde Independent Suspension on the trailer.
Is this on a 1-ton SRW or DRW? I was able help the ride considerably on my DRW by adding enough air to the air bags to get the truck off the overload springs. With the truck on the overloads the ride was extremely rough.
Improving the ride of the 5th wheel can help the ride of the TV too. I noticed a huge improvement when I installed the Dexter EZ Flex system on our toyhauler. We no longer get bounced around by bridge transitions because the trailer handles them better.
