It's more the idea of the negative signs than what's prohibited...we keep to ourselves anyway. It sets the tone for your stay. I have read on rvparkreviews where people complain about cg owners driving by on their golf carts peering into campers' sites watching them etc. Also have had the experience a few times of not being able to use the sewer on a full hook up site for one reason or another or having no water available on same. Can you imagine checking into a Holiday Inn Express and not being able to use the bathroom?
It has made me rethink whether we want to continue camping and just use cabins/motel rooms instead, but the thought of sleeping in other people's beds stops me short of that!
I would much rather have the owners coming around periodically to check on things. There's a difference in doing that than hovering. If I paid for a fhu site and couldn't use it, then I would be looking elsewhere to stay and I would be refunded some money. If you stayed in a hotel and couldn't use the bathroom, you wouldn't stay , right?
I think many on here are viewing your post with different understandings. You want to feel welcomed there and not start off on a negative foot with a bunch of "do nots" at the front gate. Yes there are parks like that out there. We've encountered one. The most friendliest staff we have ever encountered have been in KOA's believe it or not. Usually because the owners are the ones in the office, I imagine. And it's their money. Not just an employee who doesn't care whether you come back or not. You are gonna have both types of places and the best you can do is to report what you come across, both negative and positive.
