wind speed and wineguard

i am supposed to get thunderstorms with up to 60 mph winds later today.
do i need to crank down a wineguard with batwing?thanks for your help.
  • Mine was up a few years ago near Quartzsite AZ when the wind really started gusting. I stowed it before the wind hit it's peak of over 60 mph. It's hard to say exactly but the local weather showed 50 mph gusts at the time we stowed. As I recall Bill Adams (later went to work for Winegard as a dealer trainer) said he left his up until the 60 mph point.

In any case I would err on the side of caution and stow it.
