Ohhh how I would love to join you, however my father-in-law is back home and we now have hospice involved. At this point, it's all about palliative care.
There are afternoon thermals/thunderstorms that do pass through Hattie. The gravel is tightly packed yet quite permeable (rain does not form lasting or super-muddy conditions), so I wouldn't worry at all about getting stuck.
I took a quick glance at windfinder http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/laramie_airport&wf_cmp=7 and 4 out of the next 6 days look very promising. If it were me, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Let us know what you decide.
