Even where I could almost kind of stand up, it was vexing to get going because it's fresh water so I didn't have the "bounce" I get from salt water. As we drove by the Great Salt Lake, I was thinking, "Now there's a place I could waterstart!"
We got to Denver on Sunday night. We drove from SLC in one day so we didn't stop at Lake Hattie--did check the wind while en route and it was something like 5-20 and that didn't sound enticing enough to delay Denver for a day.
I made it to the Yves Saint Laurent retrospective, but the car race at Pikes Peak is postponed because of the fires. So we basically went to Denver from Seattle just for the fashion show. Oh my.
