Looks like it was the bypass valve, turned it on and now the hot water heater light up as expected
This forum has been great, I really appreciate everyone's input
I had the unit de-winterized by .......... and looks like all they did was empty the pink stuff, they didn't bother turning the hot water heater bypass valve or the water pump bypass valve. :-( - NCWriterExplorerHave you checked the breakers and fuses? We have a Navion (same as View) and that would be our starting point.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIHow about Brand/Model of water heater...Atwood or Suburban
What have you done to try and get it to heat water?
Do you have water.......hose connected or using RV pump?
DO you have AC power..connected to shore power or using a generator?
Do you have DC power....connected to an AC source and 'converter' providing DC power OR running off of RV battery?
Do you have propane?
How long is a piece of rope :H - 2oldmanExplorer IIIs your water heater both electric and gas?
What have you tried? - darsben1ExplorerThere is a hot water heater bypass valve that needs to be in the right position.
Are you trying to run the HW heater on gas or electric.
If the bypass is in the wrong position and you do not have water in the tank you could damage the water heater by running it empty
