Winter covers

I ues a Champion cover on our 96 Southwind. It helps keep it clean and protected from the sun. I've never had any damage from the cover rubbing the paint and, we get a lot of winter wind.
The Champion isn't the best cover but, it has held up for several Pennsylvania winters. When it fails, I will buy another cover.
A blue tarp will probably leave rub marks if you get any wind.
